By the way guys.. a few people here (myself included) are thinking about getting together for dinner one of these days.. just dinner.. very non-fancy.. No specific day in mind yet.. can be a weekend, or during the week..say, next week. If anyone is interested in joining - awesome. Feel free to toss out ideas for type of restaurant and day.

Too bad that Intermezzo won't let us in anymore :) How "non-fancy" are we talking here? Suggestions: La Madeleine -- French Bakery & Cafe. Relaxed atmosphere Island Breeze -- Cheery place. Life music. Caribbean. Both places are simple and nice.

Kostya, why won't Intermezzo let us in? Alla, I think its a good idea. I personally would prefer a weekday - cause that's when I have free evenings. I'd go for either Tue, Wed or Thu. Any place is fine.

Non-fancy, meaning not too expensive and nothing that requires reservations. During the week, restaurants shouldn't be that busy anyway, so whether it's a table for 5 or for 10, they should be able to accomodate us. Kost', where is Island Breeze? (Just making sure you're not confusing it w/ Bahama Breeze..?) Next Tuesday or Wednesday works. any preference?

I can never remember which holidays, besides Christmas, oblige us to stay home, b/c everything is closed.. If places ARE open for Memorial Day, are you guys interested in going on Monday? Or everyone will be watching fireworks or something similarly patriotic like that..?)

Alla, I think you're right -- it's Bahama Breeze. There are several locations. We can pick the one closest to most people. I think Tuesday works out well for everybody.

.. Bahama Breeze works. There are 2 that I know of - 1 in Gwinnett (Pleasant Hill Rd.) and 1 in Alpharetta, next to North Point Mall (exit 8 off 400). .. actually, according to a recent article in Atlanta Magazine, Bahama Breeze in Alpharetta is the "cool place to see and be seen".. god only knows why.. but whatever.. which location people like better? me no care.

That works for me. Did we decide on time? I've been to Baham Breeze and its a very fun place. However, they have somewhat different food. If you're looking for a nice steak place, this is not the one. Overall, food is good, and drinks are even better :0) ~~Success is getting what you want. Happiness is liking what you get.~~

Alpharetta location works just fine for me. 8pm Tues works too. Resheno - we gonna "be seen" v Bahama Breeze, "open for something new" and trying their "funky food". Sounds like a fun evening to me! And sinse it is so close to my parnet's house, I might even convinse my sister to join us as well.
