I agree he is obviously pro gay marriage. Just look at the origination point of the article, Santa Monica, CA. I too, obviously, don't get the majority of his arguments. For a little mental exercize, let's just take one of his points.
The writer states that gay marriage will have an immediate economic impact of 17 billion on the wedding industry. Lets test that. He further states that the entire wedding industry is 70 billion. So.... 3% of population is gay therefore only 2.1 billion of this 70 billion could be spent by gays. And since further MOST of those gays, let's say 70% to be fair, already spend money on a full blown wedding anyway, I would guess a fairer figure would be around a 600 million dollar economic impact. But damn, this figure is way too low to make any kind of point with, since the US government spends more money than this studying the sex lives of tree frogs.
Sounds like the old saying, figures don't lie, but liars figure.
